Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor

The Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor is a dedicated hardware edit panel for DaVinci Resolve's cut page, built around a large machined metal search dial. It strips out the QWERTY section entirely and keeps only the keys an editor actually reaches for — which is precisely why it is faster than a mouse.

Includes DaVinci Resolve Studio
A full DaVinci Resolve Studio activation key is included in the box. Not a trial, not the free version, and not a USB dongle — an activation key for the complete paid edition, which on its own is a significant part of the purchase price.

The search dial
A machined metal dial with a soft rubber coating. Shuttle, jog and scroll buttons change what the dial does, and the trim keys turn it into a live real-time trimming control so you adjust edit points by feel rather than by dragging with a mouse.

Key layout
Transport control with a thumb-operated play and stop bar, and large dedicated IN and OUT point buttons. Edit modes include smooth cut, insert, append, ripple overwrite, close up, place on top and source overwrite. Live trim keys cover trim in, trim out, roll, slip source, slip destination and transition duration. Function keys handle escape, sync bin, audio level, full view, transition, split, snap and ripple delete, with a dedicated source tape button.

Multicam editing
Camera number keys drive the cut page sync bin, with both momentary and latched live override camera switching, plus video-only and audio-only buttons. For multi-camera work this turns cutting a show into something closer to switching it live.

Connection and power
USB Type-C and Bluetooth BLE for wireless operation. The internal rechargeable battery charges over USB-C. 4W maximum.
