Frequently Asked Questions

Can the PTU-X system connect to multiple microphones or receivers simultaneously?

The PTU-X system is designed for one-to-one usage, meaning each transmitter can only pair with one receiver and cannot connect to multiple devices simultaneously. If you need to use multiple microphones or devices, it's recommended to configure a separate transmitter and receiver for each microphone and operate them on different frequency channels to avoid interference.

Can I use two or more systems at the same time?

Yes! PTU-X supports multi-set operation withup to 4 systems.

How do I switch channels on the PTU-X system?

Press the CH button on the receiver to select the desired channel, then press the SYNC button to sync the transmitter and receiver. Once synchronized, the channel numbers on both the receiver and transmitter will match, and the RF indicator will turn red.

Does the PTU-X support condenser microphones?

Yes, the PTU-X system has built-in +48V phantom power, making it compatible with condenser microphones. It also supports dynamic microphones. You can simply switch to the appropriate MIC mode to connect and use your microphone.

I hear distortion or low volume, how do I fix it?

Check if the MIC/LINE mode is correctly set for the device’s input type. Make sure the microphone type matches the mode settings and adjust the gain to suit the microphone or audio source’s output level. Additionally, verify that the system is set to a frequency channel with minimal interference.

What devices can I connect the PTU-X system to?

The PTU-X system is compatible with a variety of devices, including dynamic microphones, condenser microphones, PA systems, mixers, keyboards, and other high-output equipment. By switching between MIC/LINE mode, you can adjust the input gain to match different devices.

The wireless signal is cutting in and out, how do I fix this?

First, check if the device is operating on a frequency with minimal interference. Try switching channels and ensure there are no metal objects or electronic devices nearby that might block the signal. Also, ensure there are not too many obstacles between the transmitter and receiver.
